Creating Connections:  Diversity in involvement in research

Tuesday, 16th October 2018 – live stream available
10am-4pm
Newcastle University

This regional event is being held in Newcastle to showcase examples of patient and public involvement (PPI) in health and social care research.  Presentations will look at both local context and national priorities.  The afternoon workshops, run in collaboration with INVOLVE, will focus on how to include a more diverse group of people in health and social care research.

The event is open to members of the public as well as researchers to provide an opportunity to learn how to access patent groups for research and how to broaden the reach of involvement work that is currently undertaken.

Registration is now closed – however the event will be streamed live to attract as many people as possible to be involved.  To watch the key presentations live, you do not need to register, just click here to watch the live stream from 10:30am on the day.
