Despite the ongoing situation with Covid-19, RDS NENC continues to provide outreach activities across the North East and North Cumbria via remote working.  Please contact us if you would like further information or to discuss opportunities in your organisation.

Research Clinics

As part of the RDS outreach programme, RDS NENC  are currently operating a number of  virtual  research clinics throughout the region including City Hospitals Sunderland, Darlington Memorial Hospital, James Cook University Hospital, Northumbria University, South Tyneside District Hospital, Teesside University, University of Cumbria, University Hospital of North Durham, University Hospital of North Tees and the University of Sunderland –  where our RDS advisors can continue to offer free and confidential one-to-one advice with:

  • Designing a research study
  • Research methods (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Identifying suitable sources of funding
  • Involving patients and public in research design
  • Identifying potential academic, clinical and lay collaborators
